In recent years, techniques like wacky rig and neko have become very popular among Bass fishermen around the world.
The need to have a specific hook for this technique that had specific characteristics of snag resistance, ease of bait rigging, and hook set capability, led me to request BKK to develop some prototypes.
From the evolution of these prototypes, the Predator W.G. was born, a very sharp hook, coated with teflon (super slide coating) to enhance its penetration ability.
The Predator is produced in two versions, one with a weed guard and the other with an open hook to allow for a range of uses in obstacle-free waters as well as in moderate cover.
Regarding the weed guard, I strongly wanted a hook with a V-shaped snag guard made of fluorocarbon glued with epoxy resin, in order to achieve the best snag resistance, penetration, and durability.
The hook’s diameter allows for both finesse and bait finesse uses (line range 6/14 lb), making it the best choice for versatile use.
